“Before trying this platform I failed multiple times to journal my trades as I didn't think it would make a difference. Damn I was wrong. Just by using the basic tools in this platform, you are actually going through the grind and you know straight away if the trades you have been taking actually mean something (ie. difference between gambling and having an edge). “I'm a slow learn on nearly everything, so with smoke coming out of my ears, I trudge through and I honestly didn't love the idea of journaling as I work hard to be acutely aware of what I'm doing (mental journaling and trying to force a comfort level as if I was walking - something that shouldn't need to be thought about). However, the RiskLab journaling has been priceless as it forces me to actually explain what in the holy hell I'm doing. Not only is that naturally forcing a process of being more thoughtful about the trades I'm making, but I just pre-flighted a Bitcoin short that I would never take even though I have TA that's telling me it's an area worth some fills. Needless to say, the capture of this and the ability to put reality to it at a later date when our actions play out is mind-numbing. Not to mention, at my age I can't always remember how to get home, so I'm certainly not going to remember ever nuance of every trade, what I was trading, and why. Absolutely great!”
